This is something that annoys me..

I go to Chancel, take the quests, drink my tea and then proceed. I usually start my journey in the graveyard then proceed to Mausoleum with maybe some random players. Some may leave but it doesn't matter, others will join eventually. I finish Maus 2 and 3, by this time there's usually a team of us. Enter and finish 4. This is when I am most likely to get annoyed because I know that the dreaded message will appear, the one from some player that I friended ages ago and I can't for the life of me remember why. The message that says, "hey..dup me". Now I will probably come across as mean but I know that this "friend" has probably waited like a praying mantis for me to reach maus 5 and send that message. Please stop doing it, I'm not going to dup ever, I don't ask people to do it for me so please don't ask me. I don't mind helping players in Maus if they're stuck and I'm not busy in another map, it's just the dup I don't like. Kind regards to all.

I invented the dup since maus 1-2 came in ,
It’s about helping out a friend , me and my friends did it and we made a lot of gold together

Haha it’s up to you. I dupe if my current group sucks or I tell the person I am coming back to my group, assuming my group creates a party. If you are not in a party, the likelihood of losing your current group while you are off duping is high.

If you do not wish to dupe, tell them you are busy, not there yet, or just ignore them for awhile. Usually by the time you come back and say, sorry, what was that? Or sry, you don’t know how to dupe or can’t, these people have moved on.

There is no certainly no obligation to dupe if you don’t know this person, though people you do not know probably w
should not be on your friend list.

Nothing wrong answering “sorry I’m random can’t dup”
Sometimes happens to me (I usually dup or asks dup). Important thing imo is to answer it’s really bad feeling being ignored (and that happens a lot in the “dup chat”).
And probably answering that way people will learn that you enjoy going random and you will receive less and less of this messages and have more time to enjoy AL and your tea

Eh, happened to me months ago but still get annoyed by it I guess and it was done by a guildie. Comes in when boss is almost down, some luck, then quickly invites a whole new pt and leaves us there. What a waste. To each their own. I've left my random party usually after maus 4 for a guild and friend party but no reason to jump into someone else's map just to leave a minute after with another pt. Although I've never had a player ask. for a dup.

i dont go m5 for this exact reason!(when i run m5, i can receive like 20 dup ask message) i only accept invite for mauso 6 :P and even then, i receive dup message even in m6!! loll

I hate being rude so I just say I don't know how to do it and I'm ashamed to say that. I posted on here so that people will know it just annoys me and I'm very sorry. I will, as I previously said, help people with a maus map if need be and I'm not busy elsewhere. Thank you for taking time to read my thread and I appreciate that some of you agree with me. I also appreciate that some people don't mind duping

It's when you reach Maus 5 and someone wants maus 6 so you go through and they join you then you go to the players you were originally with. It's so complicated in a random team for me. All the explaining and partying etc.

I just realised..we know that dupe or dup means duplicate here in AL but actually dupe means to pull the wool over someone's eyes or in other words mislead someone. So I could reply with erm..hang on..erm..let me think. I can't for the life of me think what I could reply with. 🤔
