    Default Thank you sts:)

So far 2018 has been a great year, the egg event made me and many others very motivated to run and you guys are doing really well at keeping the game fun all of the time and not just certain weeks of the year. To be honest I havent been so addicted since 2013 I thought you guys deserved a positive thread after all of mine and others salt. I hope your hot streak continues.

Hi and yes..I totally agree. I think what's happening has taken some hardwork by the devs and deserves thanks and appreciation.

Thank you and a big A* for effort but hot streak? Tavern event was a major let down and a repetitive bore. Egg event was better but with terrible tier rewards. Cottonkill and bon bon crates were worthless and the new set was an epic fail.

Sorry as much as id like to say i like the changes. For me personaly i prefered the old way. Few totaly free to run events a year and a few major ones. Sorry if i offended anyone here but id rather be honest than agree for the sake of brownie points. Thank you

Aww, it is early days yet with regards to the changes. You can't make omelettes without breaking shells so there's bound to be a few teething troubles but I reckon the team are working hard. I'm not trying to score brownie points because what would I gain? I do miss the old AL but that's nostalgia, I miss lots of things that were around 5 years ago. Let's just wait and see eh? Oh..some of the players that were inactive have returned so that's a good sign innit?

Thanks for bringing salt again in a thank you thread. Is very kind of you taking in account feelings of people that are thankful and bring them back to normal forum kind of conversation.
Instead of leave it be, you braced yourself and had the guts to lay down people that felt the need to thanks Sts for what they are doing. Good job. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to attend at people that can’t simply let it go for once.

Oh sorry i didnt realise this was an "agree or shut up" kind of thread. If being opinionated is being salty then im a very salty person

If you kindly read my post again it starts with a "thank you" and ends with a "thank you" and inbetween is what "I" feel can be improved or was a let down.

I dont represent the community as a whole nor does my opinion change the opinion of others as a whole. I represent me and am brutally honest in what i say, think or feel. Sorry if that hurts u

For the record again. Thank you sts. Been here guessing 4 years now. Good times or bad times its been a fun journey. Even if there was never another update ever again i will always be grateful for this game and what it has given me. It never was about the content for me, was about the idea and the platform it has given us to socialise and make friends we otherwise would never have known.

On my lowest days ive logged on and theres always someone there to cheer me up. On my happiest days theres always been someone to share my joy with. Even Been playing during holidays on some exotic beach somewhere. Really did live up to the slogan "play anytime, anywhere with anyone"

Its never been about the gold or the vanities. Give me a naked toon and id happily still continue playing and supporting Sts and helping to improve the game ( yeah may spread some salt here and there ) but the intentions will always remain the same. To give the new generation of players a chance to experience and enjoy what we already know is a beautiful and amazing game.

I appreciated them and said thank you on chat to avoid any kind of drama
(Lojak is trying to make this world drama free so I changed for the sake of it )
And I think I ll stay in chats now, its simply more productive and I get to the point answers.

Threads are turning into garbage IMO, most of the time people just post out of context posts that adds no value to the subject of the thread or their existence. And if you do the mistake of replying to that post it becomes a Quote War, people just want to quote each other and say rubbish just to pass their time.

I don't think anyone was being salty, it's a discussion. I am intrigued by the playing on an exotic beach bit. I can't even play in my garden or on a journey. My attention span is zero and I get easily distracted. Sometimes I've even fallen asleep in the tombs or I've been playing and someone has turned the telly on and that's me gone. I pity the fool who parties me lol. So, playing AL on an exotic beach shows true dedication. Where's me sunglasses..I know they're here somewhere. 😎

Err, this is kinda the opposite of a drama thread, this is an open forum for a reason anyone can post whatever they want as long as it isn't negative and useless and what he said was not useless sinply stating an opinion

It's important to keep the atmosphere positive. Of course the last few updates have been really good. F2P content, Lb content which was probably meant to get the gold flowing between the rich and poor, satchel necessities like ankhs and respec scrolls all around. Letting the developers know how much we appreciate these kinds of updates is important, but there were snags and glitches to it. Brushing up of these would have ensured a better experience.

Hopefully the updates keep getting better and better.

Updates till now have been more balanced, with the devs finally rolling out one f2p update after another. My money's on the nott-so-positive-vibe spreading people will nott be any happier when the updates become more p2p-centric. Being thankful of even efforts goes a long way, JS.
Again i said "thank you" and even said "A for effort" then listed the things i feel didnt work. As you have listed all the things you feel have made the events good i have just given another side by saying what i dont think has worked

Secondly are you playing the same game as me? Valentines was a FREE event. Easter egg event was a FREE event which got changed to a leaderboad and energy event. Let me repeat... from a totaly FREE event to a leaderboard energy event. So it has gone from totaly FREE to play to more P2P. Would you kindly like to explain how this has benefited the F2P playerbase?

Valentine and Egg event was always free to play.

Last year valentine we just clicked on portal and went in. No fuss, no energy. Run it as many times as you wish.

Last year Egg event we just went arena and farmed for eggs free all day. No energy, no portal

This year you either used plat to enter or spent time to craft essence which we didnt need to do last year.

SO PLEASE SIR. EXPLAIN HOW THIS BENEFITED THE FREE TO PLAY PLAYERS?

Free to play players could run egg event for guaranteed gold and it gave them a gigantic head start to the game, between the traders permit, the mauso points and all of the tokens given this was very much so friendly to new players, energy had a higher drop rate and lower craft time, if we hadn't so many players complain about eggsavier it never would have been deleted, the merching opportunities for the egg event was great for even the lowest budget of buyers and truly helped the community without destroying prices of other items.
The event offered little to no rewards for completing tiers was the only issue and for some reason they didn't realize that cottonkill was just a glowstick for 1k

Seems sts has been very active. Which is appreciated. The game is soon to be 71 levels, which compared to when i started at 26 cap, is worlds apart. One thing i dont like is the "fix what ain't broke" trend we have seen with pet stable, smaller button layout/size, and adding additional clicks to random menus, which is a step backward for a game formula which has worked so well for so long. Others may have different experience, but it is getting hard to play for me, literally.

Oh brilliant. Totaly ignore what i said about comparing it to last years event and go all the way to the first event that no one even mentioned.

Last years lovecraft chests sold for 10K+ in the end where many made 10s of millions from. Gold eggs from last easter sold for up to 60k+. Totaly free to run remember.

Why ramble on about energy when the two events i mentioned didnt even need energy and nowhere did i mention the goblin event. Who cares if crafting time went from 2 hours to 1 hour. Last valentines and Easter we didnt even need energy.

First goblin event one could nott even farm energy essence. First Elondrian event energy essence was so bad you would have to farm an hour of km3 for 15-20 essence, which now takes half that time in m5-6.

Energy kits can be crafted within the hour, now which previously took 2 hours(most of the times 4 hours) to craft.

Last year's Arlor event wasn't worth the time of most players by the third day of the event. I didn't even bother logging into craft the eggs by the second day. This year's event was much much better.

Last year's valentines event wasn't all about going into portal mindlessly. There were the golden love elixirs, that's were the real gold was to be made at was, these required platinum too. This year's valentine's event saw the boss drop the BIS gear for PvP, nott only that there were other things f2p about the event. I didn't play since real life responsibilities take precedence over a swag-muffin banner :/ Envious of most of my guildies, anyway nott to digress.

First goblin event one could nott even farm energy essence. First Elondrian event energy essence was so bad you would have to farm an hour of km3 for 15-20 essence, which now takes half that time in m5+. These past few events have been grossly f2p compared to the previous events.

Or maybe you would prefer it if the event maps were easily accessible for all? Easily bottable and the prices of the items in the maps worth null?

STS should do a throwback event were needles in haystacks were much easier to obtain than energy essence, where the locks are the only things with the BIS items, with the items being so rare only whales could afford them and with energy kits purchased with platinum nott being tradable? Maybe that's what it will take for it for people who got back into the game yesterday to appreciate what STS does for their players.

~Nott to come across as a fanboi, like my OP on this thread there's still things to come and things they can do make the experience more enjoyable. Staying positive and considering how the game has to survive in the long run goes a long way.
Bottom line is your trying very hard and bringing up totaly irrelevent points to try and justify something that doesnt make sense. Turning a totaly free to run event with no energy to an energy event doesnt benefit the F2P. I played the last Valentines and Egg event totaly free and made a lot of gold so if given a choice any F2P would prefer to have free entry compared to crafted energy or plat entry.

Yes it benefits STS but not the F2P community. No ones talking about Goblin or any other event before you go round the world trying to find answers. Im talking about Valentines and Egg event and always have been if you go back and check my original post

So please again. How has turning a free to run event to an energy event helped the F2P community? P.s made a lot more last years events than i did these so gold isnt an excuse

I feel like at this point the conversation is nott productive at all. Will leave you just one example from this year guildie looted the first few set pieces and the roses from the valentines day event boss, he then went onto make more than 70m in the first week. All of this was from buying energy kits with gold. The gold he farmed in elite maps which were f2p maps.

    hebagudday
Quoting you "Buying Energy Kits With Gold" ... So then its not "FREE" is it as you previously stated? Previous years it cost us nothing.

According to you my Arcane artifact, Nightmare set and all eggs were "FREE" as i farmed all the gold for them in mausoleum. Flawed Logic
