My friend lost alot of items due to a glitch in the game

So my friend makes youtube vids etc and in the city of kelys he was setting up getting rdy to record etc and someone came to him and asked my friend hows his stats and my friend said they are good etc but as my friend hit X to exit inspect he went to his own inv and tried to equip some items but his ping was high and he exits his inv and a minute later he sees chat that his tainted staff balanced gun and more was gifted to him and so that person left the guild laughed at my friend and blocked him. My friends ign is (Ominousx) the leader of Classified.

This happened to me to but i lost nothing worth 20k or more... my friend lost over 10m from this.... He wasent trusting or lending items, he was trying to equip them when he was in his own inv NOT in inspect.

This thread belongs to bug section. And yes as avaree said write to support. Ive never heard about some kind if bug like this.

This happened to me like few weeks ago and it isn't bug. It's because of the ping. You think you are in inventory but in fact in game you're still in inspect window due to lags the red ping causes. And when you're trying to hit the equip button (which in fact is STILL gift button) game just gives the item to the player. I was lucky enough items got gifted to my dear friend and of course I got them back. I am not exactly sure why or how it works but that's what happened. Hope your friend get the items back.

Hmm sts need to put confirmation button for gifting maybe even 2x of it would be okay. Because no one use gifting much to complain about double confirmation button

Please don't speak for everyone. Many of my friends and myself frequently use the gifting feature to exchange items between ourselves precisely because there's no confirmation to wait for and no 4 item limit like trading.

In this thread you say it's a bug, but someone in Garetta said this guy was doing scam. Which one is true? Is this Classified master so upset (s)he told other he's scammed? This guy might be an opportunist jerk (who knows), but accusing him of scam is not cool.

"Interesting" bug. I hope it doesn't cause too much grievance before it gets patched.
