they both give good stats in terms of hp and damage. but hero cotton is way ahead in terms of mana, which is a reliable thing if you're a rogue who runs pve.

I have both, and it's not even close.
Heroic CK has more Passive damage (Heroic vs Legendary)
Heroic CK has much better Happiness Bonus
Heroic CK AA is a PvE group shield, which is also great.
Don't get me wrong, Nightshade is great (and if he's level 60 vs Heroic CK in his 30-40's, the dmg is comparable I believe), but I was never a fan of his AA (I swap for Nilbog for Anti-Curse in Maus) and Heroic vs Legendary is a massive difference in passive dmg.
