It's not today, it actually got moved up because the developers had to design a whole NEW vanity helm just for you guys!

Guys, don't worry about the vanity, come to have fun and enjoy the game.

Whenever someone sees me on my AoA, all I get are questions like, "do you have the vanity now," "do you know what the vanity is," or "when's the party so I don't miss out on the vanity!!"

Sorry guys and gals of the AoA, but the event became just like any other dev run vanity opportunity once the devs announced that a new type of vanity item would emerge from this party. Think of how the Xperia/Android BBQ/Chrome events generated a buzz once players found about the vanity items. I understand that you guys are looking forward to the publicity and your 15 minutes of fame, but to others out there in the community they hear chance at a brand new vanity item that may vanish after the event ends. So try to see it from their perspective.

I totally get where you're coming from glut, it's just unfortunate that this event has turned into a 'gimme gimme gimme, me me me' event is what I was trying to say. But like you said, once a vanity was announced people would just want the vanity :/

I don't know if you can tell us or if this was already asked, so sorry if it is any of the things I listed but will it just be like a Droid event where you just wave or will it be for those who win a contest or something?
