Overall STS definitely made it not be worth the gold. On the short run you can gain gold, but overall, you end up losing.
(Personally, I spent 5m and only got 4 weapons)

You've gotta keep in mind, it is a gamble. People will end up losing gold but some can make tons too. It's all statistically based. :/

To all those that complain, this is gambling, exactly like platinum and locked crates. If you never did locked crate open now you can experience that feeling using your gold. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Perfect goldsink before expansion.
