It was indeed a successful inaugural guild pvp event.
Congratulations to the Family guild.
Everyone had the opportunity to try end game pvp.
The sets where at a reasonable 30k, with, no procs, no enhancements, and as fair as it could be. Slight imbalances in some classes being more stronger, but that is the case with all pvp levels.
This event the rewards are inclusive to all guilds that reach certain tiers, and not limited to the winning guild alone. Thus making the whole PL community happy because we all had access to the prize vendor and the farming maps. There was little hate and finger pointing this event regarding the rewards.
This time purchase of the vanity rewards was designed much better, different vanities bound the character it was purchased on for pl gold, and separate vanities that can be stashed and traded bought for platinum.
50 members add to the overall guild tally, it was indeed strength in numbers.
There where are few hiccups regarding teaming and holding spots, keeping in mind it is pvp. What is considered fair play? And what is just FFA and having fun. All in all, trash talk doesn't help the saltiness in PvP.
My only disappointment was the purchase of 105 legendary rings for 4 million gold. Which was pointless, considering the current market price of these items are under 100k. I would have appreciated more the purchase of 105 elite amulets for 2 million, the item that the PL community does require.
Will there be an option to buy The shield of honor vanity for plat? So it can be stashed and traded?
A big thank you to Cinco and his team for all their hard work.
