dot bug?

Hi just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem. Currently am level 69 mage and have been playing the new map. There seems to be a dot applied in this map (shown by the little red skull) which comes from certain mobs. What I've noticed is that gale force 10/10 mastery does not seem to remove this dot, even though I think its supposed to. Also arcane shield doesnt seem to remove it either (not sure if this dot counts as a "bleed effect" that shield is supposed to remove).

Anyone else noticing this and can maybe provide a clearer insight? I notice this most when fighting a group of mobs, which i use gale often, and I think should be removing the dot but doesnt seem to for me.

If you use gale mastery it should.. I always used gale mastery 10/10 when I played mage
