Puzzled about guildhall furniture..

I was in the guildhall. Being a curious soul, I tapped on that big button and looked at the furniture. I have plat confirmation on so felt quite safe and tapped on a bed. I notice came up in guildchat.. Susie bought furniture for GH or words to that effect. It was totally accidental and it's not even in my inventory. Being an officer I surmise it's gone to our GM's inventory. How do I get reimbursed?

I didn't realise there was a confirm button when it comes to plat purchases. This should be set as default imo. I accidently bought a wedding ring for plat because my phone was lagging I didn't even have the orb that you needed to craft the full thing. Your best bet is probably to email sts.

Yes..look in options for plat confirmation. I've emailed STS and also looked at my purchases in my account. Sure enough, says I bought a guild lodge bed. It's nowhere to be found, my guess is that it's gone to guildmaster? I would have thought it fair to let the purchaser place the furniture but this was an accident and I didn't intend to buy..in any case, better information would be appreciated. I'll just hope it turns out ok.

Yea.. there was an issue before if you opened locks through quick slot it would insta open even if you had confirm plat on.
Also yep furniture bought from guildhall goes straight to GM's pockets.

Well it would have to happen at the weekend. Nevermind, I'm sure it will get sorted. Thanks for info on where the bed went.

P.S. Can anyone give information on whether we can interact with the
guildhall furniture without the guildmaster being present. If so, I would buy some at a later date. Beds for instance, would they be helpful to players who need the dream quest? I feel more details about this feature are needed, after all it's not cheap. Kind regards.. Susie.

Yeah everyone can use them. I was in the guild <snipe> and they had a kitted out guildhall. The bed was very handy.

Thanks for replying. I'll probably get a bed later when everything is sorted. I'm going through my inventory at the moment. Seems things went missing after updates. It's really disheartening.

Yes it's me again. I just popped in to see if my platinum had been returned and it hasn't. I sent an email the day I posted the thread and I'm not emailing again because I doubt anyone would see it. Apparently repeated emails go to the bottom of a pile and being a considerate soul, not wishing to be a pest, I refrained from using emails over and over. Now, the reason I'm posting again is this.... The mistake on my part is easily done, the platinum confirmation should have worked on purchasing guild furniture and clearly it didn't because I keep that on ever since the accident with the Mishi egg. If STS are of the opinion that it was my fault, perish the thought, then I can let the guild keep the bed. It's the "not knowing" that is the issue. Hope everyone is keeping well, especially cool in all this hot weather.
