    Default Item recolouring machine

    Concept:
In light of the recent discussion of items recolouration, my friend and I decided to revisit her really old idea of proposing a machine that is similar in concept to the FACE O MAT. This particular one however, would give the option to spice up the colours of several armour sets most commonly used by SL players. The range of colours would be the exact shade as that of the hair colours currently available: Black, White, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink, and Purple. We also discussed the possibility of recolouring vanities such as shirts but decided against it as it would prove to be too confusing. As Sl already provides players with 4 different shirt colours, recolouring those shirts would leave them with a confusing caption.
Ex. “Classic Blue Shirt” - when the shirt is clearly Orange
Instead, we would much prefer if there were plans for different coloured shirts, jackets, and boots but released through events or weekend sales.

    How it would work:
    1. The machine would be set up in UC Blackstar Base close in proximity to the FACE O MAT. Options for which armours are modifiable would start with the lvl 50 and 55 sets that include a speed boost (Sur’Manx Planetkiller set, Tek’Graval Deathwalk set, and Va’Kryall Battlefury set) with more being released depending on discussion between developers and players as well as popularity in their reception
    2. Players would either need to pay platinum or credits (decision up to developers) in order to recolour the armour sets with the option of a)doing it one piece at a time, or 2)the entire set another colour with a slight discount
    3. The recoloured armour pieces will not tradable in order to avoid more confusion in the Auction Terminal

Attached below are examples of how the three sets of armour would appear on all three classes:Name: IMG_5738.JPG

Excuse how rushed they look, photoshop refused to open so I had to settle for other apps...

Sounds a little complicated to develop... not even big games has it right now.

Actually in general it's not the hardest to program. Even Gameboy color games had this.
If the STS engine supports stuff like this is another question though
