About the new event

The event to me seems to be much more harder than the last one where the gold event was included. The mobs and bosses seem buffed and chances for Gold Skellys slightly nerfed.
Very hard for us low levels.

used to one shot combo a group of skellys now the normal ones have as much hp as the gold ones had in the last one

It's not just harder for low levels. L100+ take quite a while to accumulate points as well.

I find it fairly easy with a dev / psyko. The map is more spread out is the reason it’s seeming longer, the mobs may have a slight increase in health sure , but when you run solo it adapts to your level.

Pets don't work on Shimmering Shores according to Cinco:

Even though this event is based on individual score, the content has been balanced for teams.
The event portal offers the option to 'Go Solo' or 'Go Multi' (so you can party-up and vacation together or storm the beach by your bad self)!
Ok'Tal and War Bird Pet buffs will not apply when adventuring on Shimmering Shores.
Myxx has a chance to drop the 'Black Gold' vanity sword:

I get whybit would be harder to get the gold farming tiers because of the new gold luck addition but this seems a little excessive its asking for 10+ hours of play when i barely get 2-4 per weekend. Hard for busy people to complete this event.

Well mobs need to get hp nerf for sure. Its almost okay with 2x combo elixir, even tho itd take 10 (!) hours to get 35k points (with this elixir ofc), without it will be really hard and long. So lets hope for fast hp fix.

I tried it a little, the points are pretty slow I will admit. Changing mob values at this point seems a bit unfair to people who have already invested a lot of time. Maybe the tier totals could be slightly altered? 10k for bronze 15k for silver and 20k for gold is a little less than before, but definitely is more possible even if someone were to be busy this weekend
