Labor Day is a US holiday and most offices are closed unless you work for a service industry or in retail sales. I'm sure everything will be made right by tomorrow.

Well no disrespect but while arranging the update the mods would have discussed the date and timings. Hence they would know it prior today that there would be a holiday so update must be scheduled accordingly without fake news or at least inform the players about it.

I guess they forget or take this game very lightly but people here are wasting REAL MONEY ON BUYING PLATINUM.

I really don't know the issue yet so I won't comment anymore.

I understand the frustration but people make honest mistakes and platinum doesn't expire, just gamer patience lol. Yes it's a screw-up of some sort, either technical or human error, but it's easily fixed when they return, no worries.
