As far as the sub rule goes, subs have to play one match to be valid for the prize. Does that mean if the sub plays the first match the sub has to play with the team throughout the entire tourney? Or is it still just a sub in case something goes wrong? And also, do subs have to play one full match or just one round of the match and can switch back.

I suspect his answer will be that the sub must play 1 match, then the "non-sub" players can play the rest. That is, if your sub plays the first round, that sub is not forced to play the rest of the matches. The sub can be swapped in and out per match.
