I would assume that it�d just be to solve curiosity. Other than that I don�t think that there�s a functional purpose to it.

At the end adding this feature is not even hard considering that any game database (consisting a chart) has the date of when a guild has been created.
The database also shows when a players logged in , created his chars , what hair,face is using etc...
