Is his enthusiasm for the idea bothering you or something?

It's an idea worth juggling around, regardless if it's practical or not. None of us really know how easy/costly it is to implement certain features to the game. Cinco's insight would be very welcomed.

Great idea for a feature. Super hard to do a full function spectator mode (like Call of Champions). Less functionality would be appropriate but still very challenging. I’ll think about it though :-)

Sounds like the alternative suggestion Dolloway and I made for players to use YouTube (and/or other streaming services) is the best path for the aforementioned reasons (difficulty to implement, extremely small size of the community, extremely low activity in the total combined PvP zones, burden is on the player and not the devs, grants the illusion that pvp is actually active by having on-demand videos available, etc).

Looking forward to seeing the many issues with PvP getting resolved in the coming months.

Great memories call of champions brings back. A feature packed game that had lots of time and love in it. Hopefully it comes back one day. Still in a few discords with hundreds of players who await it's comeback.

Hear me out

Add a 3rd team instead of red and blue called passive mode. Your character still spawns on the pvp map but is transparent / grayish. You can’t die but also can’t harm any other players.

I feel like this would be the easiest for cinco to implement, while still serving its purpose

What if you made a third team just for spectators that spawn outside the map and can’t be targeted? Dolloway mentioned this to me so I would give him that credit, but I still would like something like this to be added. Maybe since they are outside the arena watching give them specific spots they can switch to or give them 4x speed to get to best views.


Just noticed snackling had the same idea right before this one but with minor changes.

Still fully support this idea and feel it should be added not only for new players but tournaments also to make sure no rules are broken.
