    Pocket Legends: Neo Mages
    Episode 4: Camp D.A
    Chapter 1: Two Stripes

Angela: “The SUA. Why didn’t they finish me before?”
Voice: “That’s something you must know. We have no information of why the SUA deported you to Crypta.”
Angela: “I remember escaping Crypta with my new Rushian friends. Yeah, they were once soldiers.”
Voice: “You and the veterans planned to riot by escaping the labor camp. When this happened, you created an allegiance to drive socialism out of Alterra.”
Angela: “You could say that. All I want to do is to get out and meet Cinnamon.”

    Camp D.A, Crypta
Almost a platoon of the veterans locked in a large barrack were prepared for another resistance; an uprising. Mikhailov, Andropov, and I had to escape while the others use all their strength to take full control of the camp. Remember, all of us were previously trained. I could hear boots clicking and lightly stomping; must be at least three of them. In the front, Andropov was carrying a PPSH-41 he sneaked from the weapons storage last week, while in a hip fire position. Keys jingling, locks being unlocked, and the double doors began to open.
    RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT!
A handful of bullets made three of the SUA guards fall on the stone floor, as smoke appeared from the barrel. The veterans were told to stay put while three of us grabbed the items from the guards; Two M91/30’s, a single Tokarev, plenty of ammunition, and a few silver keys.
Mikhailov: “Free the others, Angela. We will cover you.”
I nodded. He and Andropov equipped the rifles as I ran towards to the other barrack. Andropov followed me as Mikhailov was lying prone near to the false door while holding his rifle. There were only two silver keys that were identical to each other.
Angela: “Guess both of them have the same combo…”
I shoved the keys in, created a circle, pulled it, and the veterans inside were free. When the doors were fully opened, their sad faces formed into confusion and excitement.
UUSR Prisoner #1: “A? Kto ona?”
UUSR Prisoner #2: “Tam Geroy Rushia i komandir Mikhailov!”
    UUSR Prisoner #3: “Kak oni-”
Andropov: *shushes* “Ostavat'sya na nizkom urovne!”
The next thing I knew, the doors from the hallway were opened, with a group of armed SUA’s.
    SUA Guard: “Chto proiskhodit-”
    POW! RAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT!
SUA Guard: “ARGH!” *falls to the ground*
    SUA Guard #2: “ZAKLYUCHAYUTSYA-”
POW! Another one was on the ground. In the state of shock and confusion, the guards tried to equip their pistols, but they were too late. Andropov and Mikhailov quickly entered the station to check for survivors. After a couple of seconds, the doors were wide open.
Mikhailov: “All clear! Angela, bring out the veterans!”
Not really fluent in Rushian, so I signalled them to follow me. The station had a couple of wooden tables with work papers and black telephones on top. One of them had a small portable mirror; I don’t know why it was brought here before. On the right, there was a wall of rifles and small crates of ammunition below. As soon I grabbed the rifle, a quarrel began because there were not many of them.
Mikhailov: “Dovol'no! Odna vintovka vedet pyat' soldat!”
After it was settled, Mikhailov grabbed the mirror and enter another hallway, while hiding the wall. I notice him holding a mirror and tilting it sideways. Smart move for a commander, I’d give him that.
    Andropov: “Lyubyye voyska?”
Mikhailov: “Nyet, no chto-to podozritel'no.” *turns at me* “Angela, free the others. They are in the left.”
I still had the prisoner keys and went on without hesitation. While they were giving me cover, I quickly unlocked the door with a different key. We got more company, now.
UUSR Prisoner #1: “Ey, my slyshali vystrely!”
    UUSR Prisoner #2: “Chto proiskhodit?”
    Andropov: “Bunt. My ubirayemsya otsyuda.”
Mikhailov, Andropov, and I were in the lead. Behind us, there were veterans with rifles. The last ones weren’t armed. The door in front of us was getting closer. Time for another round.
    Andropov: “Ya sdelayu eto.”
BAM! Thanks to him, the door was busted. Just about pulling their triggers, there was surprisingly none of the SUA’s in the station. There weren’t any rifles on the right wall, except more crates of ammo.
Andropov: “Oni prosto ushli bez boya?”
Mikhailov: *looks at telephone* “Eto okhota na oleney… Angela, the mission’s going to get more bloodier!”
    Angela: “What?”
    Then I suddenly realize.
    Mikhailov: “Move on!”
As we advanced forward like soldiers, our courage rose gradually. All of us weren’t merely prisoners. We followed the left path and met the two doors, but they were bolted with a single lock attached.
    Angela: “Now what?”
Mikhailov: “We cannot even risk to waste a few bullets. *calls out* Yakov, idi syuda!”
Yakov was a blonde Ursan with a brown mustache. Before he was drafted, young Yakov knew how to pick locks because his peasant family were starving due to the dictatorship in the UUSR. Luckily, he was never caught by the police. In his pocket, he grabbed out two small tools as a finger.

    Interrogation Center, Balefort Sewers
Voice: “The riot wasn’t the most important. What’s more important is, how did you manage to find out what the First Dragon is?”
    Angela: “...No. I don't remember...”
Voice: “We’ll have to keep looking. What were your emotions during the revolt, then?”
Angela: *sighs* “Painful at the end. It’s worse than losing a million gold…”

    Camp D.A, Crypta
The bodies of the fallen were littered everywhere in front of an entrance that was once known for entering the crypt. Bright flashes appeared everywhere every second as the gunfire rattled my long ears. While three of us took cover, the rest of the veterans tried to get down while shooting. We’ve lost most of our friends, but confidence kept us moving.
Mikhailov: “Treat these prison guards as if they are the reincarnations of the black army. SHOOT!”
