HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARCANE LEGENDS!!!

Can you believe it's been 6 years since we first set foot in Arlor?

This year the party is bigger and better than ever, and of course revolves around...

CAKE!

The Arcane Legends Birthday Event will run from Thursday 11/15 to Tuesday 11/20 with a 24 hour cooldown.

Why is the event not a full week?

Because next week is Thanksgiving, and we're going to run the Occupy Windmore event starting next Tuesday. More on that later.

How Does it Work?

During the Arcane Legends Birthday event you will collect and craft cakes to open around your friends to spread birthday cheer!

Birthday Cake Slices are crafting ingredients that can be used to craft Small Cakes. They have a chance to drop from mobs and bosses all over Arlor for the duration of the event!

Small cakes can be crafted by combining 5 cake slices, have a chance to drop from Arlor world bosses, and can drop from Medium Birthday cakes opened near you. These cakes are considered "chests." Open them in town or around a party of friends and it will drop goodies for you and 4 nearby players!

For You:
1 Birthday Token

To 3 Others:
5x Health Potion or 5x Mana Potion

To 1 Other:
5th Birthday Cake Slice

Medium cakes have a chance to drop from Arlor world bosses, from Large Cakes opened near you, or can be crafted by combining 3 small cakes. When you open a Large Cake around other players it will drop:

For You:
5 Birthday Token

To 3 Others:
500 Gold

To 1 Other:
Small 5th Birthday Cake

Large cakes have a chance to drop from Arlor world bosses or can be crafted by combining 3 medium cakes. When you open a Large Cake around other players it will drop:

For You:
25 Birthday Token

To 3 Others:
A random Weak or Damaged Jewel

To 1 Other:
Medium 5th Birthday Cake

Grand cakes have a chance to drop from Arlor world bosses or can be crafted by combining 3 large cakes. When you open a Large Cake around other players it will drop:

For You:
100 Birthday Token

For Everyone Else Nearby:
The Grand cake is unique in that instead of dropping goodies, it will spawn the Birthday Bandit!



Take down the bandit and he will drop 5 random prizes for nearby players to collect, including:

+ 5x Health Potions
+ 5x Mana Potions
+ 2500 Gold
+ Random Damaged Jewel
+ Random Weak Jewel
+ 4th Birthday Cake Slice
+ Small, Medium, Large or Grand 5th Birthday Cake
+ Birthday Cake (furniture)
+ Balloon (furniture)
+ Happy Birthday Banner (furniture)

This year, when murdered, the Birthday Bandit can also drop this sweet hat:



Birthday Bandit also has a chance to drop the recipe for crafting the Mythic Weapons into Vanities:

+ Elondrian Gnarled Rifle
+ Elondrian Warfare Bow
+ Fortified Glaive
+ Frost Touched Bow
+ Frost Touched Bulwark
+ Ghastly Scythe
+ Infused Orbital Staff
+ Nightmarish Blades

These vanities are also available from the Birthday Vanity Vendor for 300 Platinum each.



Birthday Tokens



So, what can you do with all of those tokens that you're getting from your cakes? Visit Priya the Party Planner in town to spend your tokens on a whole slew of fancy new vanities!

You'll find sweet new vanity weapons for each class.





You'll also find some vanities that can be worn by any class, like this premium birthday candle banner, 3 different shades of party hats and some cake vanity wings (pictured above)!



Finally, we've added an egg for a new pet: Strawberry Cupcake the Bear!
