If inventory slots were limited to 1 then everyone would want them to increase. Reason many people don't want gold cap to increase is because its not an issue to them yet. Once they hit 400m+ gold then I bet they would be here requesting an increase. Whats the point of having many characters to hold gold instead of just one.

I would like to use it on some lb vanities, but most people want pure gold. You know how hard it is to find someone who won't scam you.
What if someone has 180m pure gold and wants to buy a lb vanity say frank vest, they can't buy it because you can only trade 99m and the seller wants pure gold. Buyer can't add 80m of items because all he has is 180m.

Easy solution for this tbh, re-release these vanities.

I really request for this to be added so I don't have to have a ton of characters with 99m on every one of them.
It will help people trade when trading items 100m+ so they don't get scammed.
We don't have to worry about making alt accounts/ characters to hold the gold.
This will be extremely helpful for many people.
Would not care if it costed plat to hold that much gold.

Player limit 999m stash 999m. Please, for the sake of making trades easier when buying items 100m+.

Even do what rauitri said, make gold cap limits unlock after buying spends alots vanities.

This is something that has been requested a long time but sts never considered putting this in the game, its the same like making alerts for sold item in auction also never seen in the game i hope they change this in the expansion

It wouldn't have an effect, people already save gold on their toons. Increasing the gold cap would just make purchases and moving things easier. Most people don't specifically save gold they just gain it, they don't waste it either. This is why you see millionaires and billionaires in real life, they gain but not waste, it doesn't mean they don't spend.

There is too much gold in the game, not many gold sinks and the inflation is so high that the trades are above the game decided caps. Devs need to put a account wide gold cap and remove the access gold from the game.
