No offense but this isn't exactly the type of game where you need skill, all you need a functioning brain and money, nothing else. Hence why lots of players r attracted to AL, it's easy.

Then again there are those who use shadow bomb as a rogue and heal on mages so guessing a properly functioning brain is rather rare.

Skill: The ability to do something well; expertise.
I think the ability to stay alive facing hard bosses with bad gears is a skill on its own, but then that's just my way.

Hardcore mode is blast from the past back to 2011 the year I start this game!
My opinion about the game was: making friends,playing quest, have fun!
But the most bad thing for this mode for me is that when you die you don’t lose only your items or pets!
You losing your FRIENDS and the ability to look in your friend list and invite them again!

I wish to have a afterlife mode (for dead hardcore players) to traveling around Arlor and bother the living XD

I think everyone understands the "challenge" aspect of "HC" mode..... From my perspective, the challenge is not an issue nor is that aspect of the "mode" misunderstood.....

My thing is, you "are" going to die in hardcore more.... That's it's design...... It's not designed for anyone to be a supreme ruler for eternity...... Based on my own personal experience, I cannot find motivation to keep playing HC mode if the only thing you can do is revive for plat and go for LB.... I like the purple name and all but, there is a disconnect.... Something is missing.... It's like a dog chasing it's tail...... You "have it" because it's "right there" but, you never "get it" because the dog never gets it's own tail...... Just seems there is a missing ingredient.... Just my "feedback/opinion"

He or she who is having a blast playing HC, more power to em.... I personally would prefer to level ALTs ATM.

IMHO what’s missing is that it should provide something to the main character for major accomplishment (such as reaching level 71). An account wide title which can be worn on the main would motivate a lot more people to join & persist in hc. A vanity delivered to stash would also be a nice touch.

Decided to start playing this game again because of hardcore release just to find out that you need to be level 71 to enable it. I stopped playing at 66 cap and I am sorry, but why do I have to level up to 71 to start over as a hardcore? There is no way I am going to grind 5 levels just to start playing the game. Please change it.

One thing I would like is for you to take away the pvp achievement points, instead let us enter pvp for fun and the deaths not count. It will benefit the community by letting us have some fun and see what pvp is truly made of, it will benefit you bc I think it may bring to light some ways to actually get twinks back going and maybe even balance it in all aspects, ty in advance

Any chances of decreasing level 71 eligibility to 61-66?

If yes then yup make hardcore PVP as Win loss instead kill death.
Hardcore mode is already about own loots, and so it's kinda self balanced PvP.

Win loss PvP will also encourage players to buy pets by plats for PvP .

5 levels was done in a week by many... 2weeks by most. You can make leaderboard in hardcore in 24hrs... not really missing much. If you had started last week you might have been done already

Hardcore changes in the 2018-12-13 update:
+ Hardcore characters can now only permanently die in PvE zones (so you can pvp or click kraag cannons).
+ Hardcore characters no longer go through the tutorial.
+ Klaas and Shazbot no longer give Ankhs to Hardcore characters.

hey, can you make hardcore plat-free in terms of gear/pets/store etc but the revival is ok i think in order to make it more hardcore you know ;p,
-maybe can we have adjusted loot table/drop rate for HC or
-maybe farmable currency w/ npc trader especifically for HC(i think because we will not be farming gold to upgrade gear) or
-maybe an item(gear) upgrade system which is similar to upgrading jewels ,
-also maybe hidden unknown discoverable side APs,
-also HCC bound vanities that are glowing hehe would be cool too

I have a job, I can't grind 24 hrs a day, and I see no point leveling up so high when all I want to do is play hardcore, I have 0 interesest in normal mode. So I wont come back unless they change it.

Make pvp for hardcore characters it Would be so fun for hardcore characters to find and upgrade their gear to pvp at a certain level without losing everything after they die

You can PvP as a hardcore now:

What grinding from L66 to L71?

My warrior got to L71 just doing daily xp quests. Turned in quests using xp lix from elite runner chests, 19% xp from equips, and Abaddon. Got 40k-50k xp from quests. Some days I did all quests; some days I just did the fast ones first. Quests in under an hour a day; mostly solo.

Did the whole thing in under a month, including taking weeks off.

What grinding?

All those hours wasted, just so I could start playing again? I could spent thouse hours on hc mode instead of leveling up character I am never going to play again. I see alot of people playing a white knight for sts and protecting this idea so Ill stop complaining now. If they think it invites more people to play hc mode then good for them.
