    How about an option to craft/upgrade gear using the drops.
    For example: Combine 10epic pieces of armor to get a legendry armor piece of the average level of the drops used to craft.

    Does that makes any sense?

    I'm level 41 now and have less than 200 damage as a rogue. This makes maps extremely challenging and high risk. I'm all about grinding, but there has to be a purpose. Till now its always been to better my toon with gold or make her look nicer with vanities. This separate HC toon feels like starting over without purpose. At least make some kind of hardcore vanity or title we can use on our mains.

    Was it intended for Klaas to not give you anything? Could be a bug. Upon claiming, just skips the animation, resets the 8hr cooldown, and gives nothing.

    If it was intended, was it because we could have the chance to loot decent pets(Colton etc)?

    I would add gift option to hc mode,so we can actually give away equipment which we got for other classes,making eachothers stronger,without any payment.
    Id also make all untradable things giftable,so that,if you are about to quit the game,they dont go to waste.

    Long time ago, a few players started a similar mode called "Iron mode"
    They made new toon without taking trader's permit.
    I was one of them, thing we felt:

    1)Drop rate should be high cos loot is only source.
    2)Loot should be class specific, we can't give waste item to other class.
    3)Need a special identity, a recoloured name isn't enough/fair for hard work done. Perhaps consider for a cool font.
    4) Didn't felt ign prob, cos players were adding "Iron" as prefix, otherwise its already hard to get a cool name for normal toon.

    Was top 17 war, spent like 1 k plat on magma hisha vanity gears lol, then along came a spider boss in tindren , rip Alfahard was fun, but 1600 plat to revive? Meh

    Simply brilliant!!!
    Way to go guys, you made the game completely different without having to redo maps or anything!!!
    I'm reminded of days gone by when everyone worked together because it was necessary for success. When fear was a part of the play and we all laughed at a glorious death! When gear meant less than teamwork and tactics.
    I would like to see either better drops like eleit maps. The ability to trade could be helpful as gear is hard to come by.
    All in all it is an absolute blast and who would have thought that death to a capped player could bring such laughter and joy!
    A small thing would be to have some way to retain your guild, while still announcing the recently deceased!
    Happy hunting all, and stay quick with that quit to menu button!!!

    This is not really a "hardcore feedback" but, since I encountered it playing hardcore mode, I will post it here.........

    Quest paths are too scattered.... Needs to be "tightened up"....... Quests drop you off in locations that "do not" yield quest completion.... Just yields confusion..... Needs to be more on point... Especially in "hardcore mode"..... The delivery of the content has to be just as "hardcore".... This stuff is all over the place..... Maps access is scattered too.... It's just madness.... It's like, you just gain access like "nothing".... Just my feedback...... Need better quest/map paths....... You can end up in shuyal/nordr before ready.......... I now this is "hardcore mode" but, it's the same for "non hardcore mode"..... Not an issue before because it's easier in normal mode due to the ability to share stash and such......... I don't know.... Just all over the place........

    Excellent suggestions. All loot should be class specific if nothing else.

    Some sort of "Hardcore store" would be nice......

    "Hardcore currency" that is acquired via running maps can be the currency......

    At least let it sell vanities..... Weps and armor would be cool, too.......... I mean, there is a small chance that all will spend 1600 plat to revive hardcore characters so, it can be something to keep people "into" the "temp" aspect of it.........

    Many, including friends and myself have remade characters and are doing it from the beginning again. Some are doing it for many more times than once, which shows this mode is quite an exciting challenge. In HC guild chats, members brag about looting a legendary weapon or a george egg for instance. This is such a delight.

    The scarcity of equipment and pets DEFINES the challenge. There should be no HC store, no trading between HC players and no discount in revivals. I disagree with changes that make the current system easier.
