Theoretically yes. Whatever death (cannons, duel, pvp, in map etc) is permanent. I would even walk back-to -wall afraid of axe hooking XD

But all other deaths u mentioned u can find back at kdr. Fester does not give a death to kdr so i thought maybe we can test pvp a bit without consequences. Hehe im hugging the fester outpost wall to xD I see them hungry hyenas looking at me

Cannon death does not count as death in normal character yet you still die so this too can kill your character.

I tested dueling, your hardcore toon doesn't die until it's over if you got killed once, but if you even died once, your hc char dies (even if you won 3-1)

These gotta be changed though. Duels, battlegrounds, Deth (Halloween NPC), they're all for fun and losing a hardcore character from these should not be a thing.

Hardcore doesn't mean that fun is not allowed.
