Another Returning Player

So here I am, playing this game after about 2 years. What I have noticed so far is that mythic pets price harshly dropped, the market is fked up and the only way to earn gold is using gl weapons.

I think that gl weapons are pretty unhealthy to the game, gold is being gained without spending anything. For example back in the day, people would farm locked chest and others would buy it so the gold was getting cycled which was healthy.

So is the meta of GL will ever go away or do I have to submit to it and buy GL weapons which are pretty expensive.

So as a returning player what should I do? I have been doing dailies for quest but there is a 24 hours timer before I can redo then, what should i do in meanwhile?

I don't do gold loot at all. Too much grinding for me. I do what I have done for 6 years - play the events and whatever is endgame and farm items. Warehouse full of stuff counters gold inflation.

Oh yeah, xp buff items, pets, lixes work for xp quests, so do that before turning in quests. Can get up to 65k xp per day. Not too shabby.

Nahhh .. this game is not all about gl items .. learn to explore more . And you will notice and understand everything . Gl ...

Any maps that give you exp. A level capped character will be the easiest and most fun to farm with. Your farming should be focused on experience

There is a pretty good guide in the guide section on how to get maximum amount of exp out of the quests.

Don't fall for gl loop..

I didn't farmed gl runs , and my friends are running gl runs from 3 yrs and still our stash have same amount of gold..(while I'm on break from 10 months)

Just doing events wisely and farming in old style (which u know) is good.

Same. I barely farm, except major events. When I am active, I easily generate 1m+ a day w/o much work and I still have all my toons geared w/ equips and vanities and full warehouses of stuff.

I mean if everyone else is doing GL, who is actually farming the items that the GL people want? Exactly.

Many people prefer gold loot farming as they can get gold very quickly,but there are other ways to earn gold in fact I would say you will earn more then those gold loot farmers

Some of the ways I farm and earn gold are:-
1)Jewel farming

You need warrior char,Glintstone Aegis and magma aa for this farming.
Mages works too but you will need flame staff.
You get around 26-30 weak jewels per elixir.
Farm only Class jewels and craft it to noble in order to earn good profit.

2)Farm Elite gold pirate chest in elite southern seas,Elite gold warchest in Elite nordr jurns,Elite gold Puzzle box in elite shuyal undim field.
Elite gold pirate chest sells for 13-20k,Elite gold warchest sells for 15-25k,elite puzzle box also sells for 15-26k
3)Merching
4)Farm mire armor and helm in hydra,for this you will need to be max level.

These all are the things which I farm and make gold from it.
