Since winter is near how many of you are willing to run for event lb this year?

How many energy kits is required to be on Leaderboard?
Is it possible to be on lb with only forged energies considering I have 20 crafting slots(btw I知 gonna do it on my war)
What place is best for farming energy Essenes?

The amount on energies needed depends on wich class you choose to run event, but i think around 1500-2000 energies, this event is longer than others.
About if is possible to do lb with only forged kits, my answer is yes of course. Im not a lb pro like some but i did some successfully. The difference using exclusively forged kits is that you need to invest much more time on farm essences, and pay attention (phone alarm maybe) to log and craft your kits.
About best farming map, some do hauntlet but i think kt4 is better.

I will be running a lb soon, however it won't be winter due to it being a 2 week long event and would have no time for family.
You plan to run on only forged energy kits? Id start forging now and aim for Halloween/winter 2019.
Why warrior? In my experience mage is easiest to hit lb spots (warrior sometimes less points but lots slower runs and no right/mage wants to run lb with tanks so 4/4 warrior runs huhu)
If your target is top 25 or top 50, forged kits may get you there but, you will have to constantly farm and craft them (your crafting station will need to "ALWAYS" have energies crafting during the entire duration of the event).......Originally Posted by Captainrock
If you expect to get anywhere near top 10, forged kits "will not get you there" because the top guys have endless gold, plat, and probably stocked up on purchased energy kits in-between "energy" events when they are cheap......
2 week events are grueling..... The LB is "not a joke"........... It takes serious dedication and attention in order to stay in "contention"...........
You said you have "20 craft slots now" but, the top players already have that, too, and gold + plat in addition.........

You can do it as war always is the lowest score on lb so but if rog expect to spend some millions just to stay top 50

2,500 energy kits for top 50? Or for top 10? 100,000,000 gold seems like an awful lot if you're only running for top 50 and as warrior
I managed to be on lb two times without spending gold/plat for energy back then. The amount of energy needed depends on rewards and is not a fixed amount as some have mentioned above. Remember u need a lot time to run lb, thats why i cant make it this time again.
Rather have 10m more planned for energy than missing a million in the end.
A war told me last event he was making 300 runs a day to stay in top 5. You can farm your way to top 50 but not mucb higher. Big jump from top 50 to 25. Even bigger top 10. You need to buy energy in bulk if you want to compete for top 10.
You need time and Money for top 10 on the lb. Top 50 you might be able to farm and buy some energies. Make sure to start early so you can sell your plat prizes, but in the end you will probably go broke from competing and your time could have been better spent with friends and family. You need to run 300 runs a day just to keep up. I got 30th one winter lb and got me that lava lamp and I was averaging 200 runs a day. Never again as its way too time consuming. Energies are also 40k now so gold wise you need around 150m give or take a 10m. Mind you some lb players have already stashed up 2000+ energies since last event. You see them buying in the buy sell section so you already know you're up against some stiff competition.
Farming energies also takes time, maybe if you can spend 14h playing a day crafting every single hour it might be possible to make it.

Also I plan on running for LB this year if the winter banner looks good enough (which I hope it does and it should), so if you're running on war then ill see you there
I usually run LB as a rogue so it is bit more expensive for me. Winter Events have good rewards so it is very competitive and a lot of people are on holidays so they have free time to run.
I ran Winter Event last year and it costed me:
70M pure gold, No plat, no farming energy kits.
84 Hours.
I was Top 15.
I ran LB 4 times and it costed around 200m but this is because I dont like farming energy. I prefer farming gold or merching then buying energy kits with gold because I can run LB fast consistently without waiting for energy to finish.
For You:
You will need 1500-2500 energy kits for Top 20-50.
Need to run event 4-8h per day for 9 days minimum. (40-80h)
Farm Energy (4-10h) per day for 8 days (40-80h)
LB isnt that great usually if you arent in Top 25.
This is my rough estimate based on my experiences.

Base on experience, the higher tier you aim for the more time you will gonna need. I’d say it is possible to clinch a spot in LB just purely farming energies (ive tried once) but you it needs tons of time farming essences. As a warrior specially you will need a dedicated group to run with too since warriors are usually least wanted in a party.
