Spirit weapon

Whats the point of buying and leveling a spirit weapon now? The new arc weapons seem better stat wise and proc wise and doesn't need leveling..

Not everyone can afford the new arcanes and they can get spirit for free I guess..

Spirit definitely not worth leveling up and arcane weapons wont be this expensive in 2 weeks lol

There will be a swamp dungeon added in January, cinco had confirmed this. spirit should get a buff with that.

You grind for spirit weapons if you cannot afford arcane, like any other past expansions.
Don't expect spirit to get any buff, arcane will always be greater than mythic.

Why did you think that? They clearly stated right from the beginning (on the expansion guide) that max level spirit will be equal to mythic

I wasn't there for the expansion guide. I been gone from the game for 2 years. Just saying spirits will be dead what will be the point in leveling them... Arcane weapons will drop to normal price by the time event ends. Why would anyone choose to level a spirit?

With spirit being dead why would anyone farm swamp besides leveling their character.. just SAYING what will happen to spirit. Festerfang is already dead as it is. Why kill it off even more..

I can buy new arcane weapon. Im not upset that I've lost money. Im not upset at all lol I just think these spirit weapons/gear have more potential. I do not want to see this expansion's farming just die off completely.

Devs said that spirit weapon's level cap will be raised with each new expansion. So when the next expansion hits Arlor, max level spirit should be the best weapon for few months until next batch of arcanes are released.

Somehow true. The only reason why those lv66 Arcanes are dirt cheap now is because in the first place, they have Infinite supply in a Vendor, where people spam in early expansion last year.

These new Arcs wouldn't drop as much after event. People have the reason to buy these, as they no longer would need 2 months capping a Spirit, which is sad. Stat wise its big, has an extra awake/gem slot compared to Spirits. And definitely has similar prices. I remember when lv50 Spirits costs 50m.

And like people said, the drops, very elusive. It seems like Aegis, Daggs and Gun are so rare to loot or either kept by players for use. Only have seen 2 Daggs, a Gun and an Aegis so far. Market is flooded by Bows, Staffs and Swords, only because no one uses bows anymore, TB is better, and whats with the staff proc?
