Friends list removal
I regularly have to weed out my friendslist but I run into one annoying problem. You see I goto remove someone and the screen jumps and I remove the wrong person. This happens all the time and is very frustrating. I'm looking for others feedback and possible solutions to this. I believe that the remove button should stick with the person you are trying to remove regardless if someone else logs in/out.
Just had the same experience today, very annoying.
I can see your problem happening. My suggestion is to start at the very bottom of your list. You may still have this problem, but I assure you it will be much easier.
First off my list is so long it would make your head spin. Secondly this does absolutely nothing to help me. Players with the Z as the first letter of their names are not the only ones I want to remove.Originally Posted by faoeskekie

I think it's a really good idea for the remove friend yes, no, button to move with the list. I don't know how many time I've clicked message or join, and joined or messaged the wrong person because of the list shifting.
One time, some guy on my friends list PM'ed me in game and said gtfo of my friends list, you big fat ugly noob. I was like, excuse me? And he said sorry, wrong person.

yeah.. . this happens when i try to join a game too. hate it. cause if i leave the game i didn't mean to join some people will keep inviting me to come back in.
Yep, been there done that. You asked for ideas so here is one: How about having the friends list lock when you pull it up as in the world map search for games? There is a refresh button for games and something like this could be done with friends.

This happens every time I try to remove a person then I see them around and they say why you remove??!?! So ya sts pls fix

This is why I limit my friends to actual in game friends xD and not just random people
which is exactly what I was trying to do.
This has happened loads of times for me. This is quite annoying and could be fixed
We need to get update for friend list when someone login or logout, it doesnt effect to list on the moment you are looking on it. Then when you press up or down arrow then it shows again.
Pocket legends: Eagle (Endgame Bird), Magic (endgame mage), Getnuked (voodoo mage)
Star legends: Eng (Engineer), Rapid (operative)
Dark legends: Sucker (vampire queen)
Happens to me everyday, pressing a button to join a fren or message, always wrong person its annoying and its long overdue to fix the problem. lock down button for friend list needed.
Just delete EVERYONE Kaar. If they want ya, let them find you. LOL
I agree with your post. It is the same frustration as trying to join a friend and you join the wrong game because of the screen jump.

i really love there to be a delete friend button and you write in the name of the friend you want to delete
I believe the same thing happens when promoting a guild member. If you're trying to promote and there's people going in/out, the list can jump and you end up promoting the wrong person.
Perhaps the "simplest" fix would be for there to be a delay before a name is "moved" to the offline half of the list. In other words, if a name on a list is going in/out, let it stay in place for a few seconds even though the name turns black (temporarily or for some time).
I wonder...is there someone who is friends with EVERYONE? Imagine that person's friend list!
