1/16/19 | Preview the "Swamp Temple Challenge" this weekend!

The banner is a reward for the full event (scheduled to begin next week); not the test we're doing this weekend.
Additionally, the full event includes tokens and a vendor, recipes for new lockeds that contain Arcane items and Heroic Sam.

The Arcane items (Artifact, Belt) will be found in the Locked Temple Treasure chest and the 'Massive' Locked Temple Treasure chest.

Recipes (consumed on use) to craft these locked chests can be purchased from the Vendor with Swamp Temple Tokens (which will also drop when the full event goes live).

So far liking all aspects and haven’t experienced any negatives. Will try that Boss out again after update and energy renewal.

I mean wave9 was easy as 30-35 sec, while wave 10 boss we barely hit within the given 1 min.
I will test with Ultime reserving for Wave10 boss.

The black shadow seem very depending to the device speed.
I mean the 1st 5 waves I just saw black. I started to suspect a deadlock...
When it faded in, the others killed every mob and we were are wave 6...

Now I will test a faster device...

OK.
After server restart, the "lvl65+ is needed" announcement is gone.

With faster device (and/or black fade in/out modification?) now it is much better.

I tried with another lvl71 random party:
Wave1-6 is very easy, quite low points, maybe intended.
Wave7-9 OK. We finished within 30-40 sec. Some of us had partial Mire set (circle below the character).
Wave 10 for 1 min - with my ulimate Aimed Shoot to the boss, let's say 5% HP lost...
(I was able to use my Ultimate 2 times, at wave 7 or 8 and wave 10).

Wave 10 boss is still very strong...
With this HP/armor it seems
- only 4 OP rogue
- with heavy armor decreasing pet,
- all ultimate to the boss (after armor decrease), etc...

Last report today:
With a weaker random party, we easily went to wave 7 - where one mage died, and another character left.
For Wave 8 with a warrior (I was with rogue), we also able to manage, but only 6-8 secs left.
At Wave 9 I was alone, and ran out of the time...

As I am not-so OP (lvl71 rogue, 8k HP, 6K armor), and I did not die (however I was stunned and remained in multiple red zones in wave 9), it seems that mobs hits are quite weak.

just simply count to 3 and spawn mobs

This swamp challenge is engaging and fun. I like the way it's part of the expansion. I think for future expansions having side events that help towards main expansion is good idea i.e gaining tokens, ingredients, recipes, runes and XP of whatever sort.

Also end boss is still a tad too strong for randoms. Well, erm the randoms I've run with tho :/

It's actually pretty fun.....

It's a bit challenging when running randoms, though....

Also, if the LV.10 wave boss is that OP, i'd hate to see what's next, LOL...... LV.10 = "The PUG Killer"........ LOL.......

But this is kinda fun....
