Regarding thanks..

Why can't I thank people's posts? People may think I'm not appreciative of others opinions but that is not the case.
I used to be able to give thanks but it stopped a while back and I want to know why please.

I just tried to thank you Oakmaiden and nothing showed. I saw yours but mine isn't there. So I'll say it here. Thank you. It's not the same as doing it the way I used to.

You can only give 5 thanks per day, so comeback tomorrow to give thanks belatedly

Hi. I have tried that in the past and it still doesn't work. I tap where it says thank and that icon disappears but my name doesn't show. 🙁

Just tried again and same. The star and the exclamation mark are there but the thanks icon has gone. I may have accidentally tapped star too as that has gone now. I give up. "Sigh".
