Potential weapon candidates for an Underwater “Atlantis” Expansion

Over the years, some of PL’s great content has been added through community design contests (and more recently, through suggestions from the community). Just for example, in the spring of 2012, Sam Hayne hosted a Humania weapons design contest, and three very talented and lucky winners were responsible for the designs of three legendary L70 weapons from the Humania campaign:

There were six runners-up in that contest that made some really quite nice design concepts that are still available for use today in the right campaign. Why not consider giving some of these very cool weapon concepts a chance at having their place in PL in an expansion that suits them? Some of these have an Underwater “Atlantis” style expansion written all over them. Would be a shame to see them never get used. Some of them could be used as weapons, and some could be used as new vanities for future PvE leaderboard events. Here they are:

Which of these are your favorites?

A “Trident of Atlantis” based off the classic Poseidon trident would fit nicely for an underwater campaign. What other ideas do you all suggest?

In addition to the fun ideas above from nearly 7 years ago, STS no doubt has some other fitting unused assets in the vault that either they designed or were user-contributed that they might want to put into consideration to use as-is or with a little tweaking as weapons or vanity weapons.

And PL has some very creative artists who still play today. I bet STS would consider any user contributed helm/armor/weapon/shield design concepts for a possible underwater expansion. So if you have some really great ideas for sets or pieces that fit the theme, and you are dying to draw and submit them, then I encourage you to go for it! Because you never know, they just might become a part of PL
