A Suggestion
For Dark Legends instead of 1 monster killed equals 1 XP
Why not have the monsters with staggered amounts of XP
as in a lvl 1 monster gives you 6~XP and boss monsters could give 100~ XP
the amount of XP needed to lvl up could be much greater too
maybe something like this
