I cant Play Sl

I just go the new update and within 4-5 seconds of opening the app it crashes.... Anyone else haveing this issue??? And im playing on a 3rd generation ipod touch and ive already restarted my ipod by holdin down home and power button

Yea there's something wrong alot of idevice users (me included) are having startup problems. Hopefully "they" are hard at work coming up with some type of solution.

hmm doesnt crash as often, but has started to a bit more than it used to before the update
if I turn off all messaging/email/browser apps... all other apps from the recent apps list as well, then im able to run without the crashes... hope it helps

Mine is crashing a little bit it is crashimg everytime i open the app :/

Just recieved an email from support saying there is a bug for certain IOS devices that there quickly working to find a fix for! There is hope for us after all.

i just updated my iOS to latest. i am able to play for like an hr then Ping spikes so high after that it will take me long time to log in. waiting to fix this. thanks alot

Alot of people are not able to update their ios. That is part of what made sl and pl so much fun to play. You can't just say "update your ios and it should work" and dismiss that as the right answer. We never had to update before, and this being the solution is unacceptable.
I guess it's game over then for the multitude of players who cannot update or even have the access to getting updated, cause I know I can't and by the looks of things I'll be through in the star legends universe.

Yeah!! I'm finally back on SL! I'm so happy. It is definatly an iOS issue. I was able to update mine and everything is working perfectly. So if u don't have the most recent update for your idevice and are having problems connecting this is probably the same issue affecting you. So if you can, update it and you'll be a happy gamer as well. I hope others find this helpful. Thanks to all who suggested their theory's
