1) The mythical Godspeed amulet was a very common drop on day 1 of the event. Since then, they have been removed from the event's loot table. You can find them listed in the amulet section of the consignment shop for cheap or alternatively, you can ask around for one. There are players who dropped 50+ of these level 100 mythical amulets alone on day 1.

2) No, there will not be a gold farming zone. The mobs in Lemuel's Lair drop a reasonable amount of gold... Up to 1500 gold per drop. This year's event map is like a mini gold farming zone.

You weren't being serious before?

The drops were removed because they were far too common. A vanity rerolled into a mythical item, so the chances of looting an amulet instead of a vanity were very high, making them nearly valueless. Cinco tried his best to fix the amulets being so common in the loot table but his hotfix was unable to resolve the issue, so he decided that it would be best to just remove the amulets from the loot table so that players would stop complaining.
