Clarifiaction for using a vpn connection

So, im currently studying in an university which provides free wifi access. The problem is they are blocking games to have access to the internet. The easy way to bypass is by using a vpn connection.
My question is am i allowed to use a vpn to log into the game? Im even setting the vpn connection to the same country of where i live at.
So is it allowed or is there a ban risk? I will NOT use the connection to do plat offers or whatever.

Yes, you are allowed to use VPN and play the game. You are not allow to do free platinum offer while VPN is active or you will consider as platinum farming and lead to ban

Just playing the game over VPN is fine. Using a VPN to exploit offer providers is not.
