Whats with this hidden endgame tournament?

Ummm can anyone elaborate? I been hearing lots of noise about remiem and “wish” hexame hosting a pvp tournament? Deadline is Saturday/friday?
Why isnt the tournament being posted on forums what if you dont have discord we cant participate?
What time is the tournament?
How many subs?
Why is this 3v3 why not 10v10 guild battleground?
Is this tournament even real or just BS
What are the rewards?
Why isnt it posted on forums?

Its a real tournament as I know. We have it in our arcane legends discord chat. We have Remiem in the chat also, so if someone breaks TOS there she could ban them.

Yes it is real, however It has been kept on the quieter side as it is the first run through ( out of many hopefully ).

This isn't an official STS tournament, but as community-run events are great for the community I try to help out when I can as far as sharing the word with the broader STS community. However, since it's run by a community member (or members) it is up to them to choose how/when/where it is run. I am not part of the organization at all. It is 100% community run.

If I remember correctly, Hexame thinks up any sort of plans that the community might like, Rem facilitates it and gives her opinions on the matter.

Why don't you try joining their discord to clear your doubts?

edit: not only hex, but many others as well. i dont really look in the server much nowadays

1) Who is Hexame? A dev? Or a community manager/ambassador?
2) What makes these "many others" so special that their opinions are given direct attention?
3) There are zillions of discord groups for AL. What makes this group so special that a STS mod is in it and is facilitating things?

As per my understanding any ideas for community event, should be discussed with community and must be posted on forums.

I am disappointed on players like you for trying to defend this, and I am disappointed on Remiem for being so unprofessional.

If it is an event hosted by a private person its his decision whether he wants to create it in public or not. You dont have any right to demand on planning this event. If you are that disappointed create your own event and dont participate in the current one.

Look at the contest section on the forum, there are many players hosting things, I dont see any dev/sts mod facilating things there.
If its a personal event, dont say its is organized by community. The screenshot in the OP directly suggests that it is something that mod was going to discuss with devs.

Right he aint a dev, he is just a player, ask him to follow the protocols other players are following. You didn't answer the rest of the questions.
I joined the group, it is created by a player and is unofficial. I have a line group with 200 players will the STS mod join it and facilitate things?

I joined it when Lucifer and Java were advertising it on forum and I left in few days. This is before Rem came back.
lol 400 players, a guild in AL has more that 400 players. Anyway when I was there It had 300 players out of which 8 to 10 players were online, mostly same players everyday, and they were doing nothing but sharing memes.

There are 116904 members on this forum, out of which 540 are online atm. Stop giving silly justifications just because you are a member of that group.

My initial question was to Rem, it is up to her to respond. I as a players now questions the integrity of the STS staff and the game itself.

Good afternoon Trader,

The upcoming tournament is being organised by Hexame and is not an official STS endeavour. Remiem is, however, privy to details so that the STS team is aware of it and can be there to support its fruition. Player led tournaments have been run in the past and Remiem was there to support those times too. I think it unfair to question her professionalism when you and others are not aware of the bigger picture yet.

Everything is still very very much in the planning stages and players were asked if they would be interested in entering so that an idea of numbers could be worked with. People are still free to enter in their team of 3 currently and there is no discrimination against anyone of any kind who would want to take part in what will be a very fun event.

The main focus and purpose of this tournament is to bring the AL community together; to enjoy watching your friends and guildies compete, not to belittle or cast aspersions on those that want to bring something positive to our game.

So, if you can just hold fire for a short while, a forum post will be made today that gives more clarity to the situation and will hopefully answer some of your questions. Your suggestions and positive contributions will be most welcome to help make this a fun and exciting event for all of us.
