Preview - Pirate Booty Returns! New Arcanite Pets!

The Pirate Booty Gold Rush event has returned with more gold and new Arcanite Pets!

Talk to "Cap'n Sinn" in Festerfang Outpost for more info... then hop through the portal to face the evil Cap'n Squall!
This event is scheduled to begin at 1:30pm Central time on Thursday May 9th and run until 1:30pm on Thursday the 16th.



New Arcanite Pets + Bonus Chest Opens!
Defeat the hard-nosed hammerhead Cap'n and loot gold from his treasure chests. Squall's chests also have a chance to drop the updated 'Arcanite Pet Recipe Bonus' chest that contains two (2) new Arcanite Pet Eggs and recipes (along with legendary equipment for Level 71 and other goodies). The new Arcanite Pet Recipe Bonus chest has 'Bonus' in the name because it provides one (1) free pull after ten (10) opens. Note: this is only for the looted chest.





During this week-long event a limited quantity of the updated Cap'n Squall's chest will be available in the store.



Price Tweaks and Gold Loot
Based on feedback from last time the price to open the new Arcanite Pet Recipe Bonus chest has been reduced to five (5) Platinum and the limited quantity Cap'n Squall chest in the Store can be opened for fifteen (15) Platinum. Additionally the amount of gold that Cap'n Squall drops has been increased significantly ;-)

Can we please have some new stuff during the goblin event? I know you guys are capable of doing it, during the old days each event would bring new pets, new gear, and new vanities.

Could you add zhulong to this crate? It'll be more worthwhile to open. From the looks of the current crate content, I doubt many will spend platinum to open it
