Where did this come from? Details?
It was the event celebrating the release of the google chrome version of SL. There was 3 quests for 3 differet colored jet packs, and you could craft a Chrome jetpack if you got all of them.

It was from a special event, when sl hit google chrome. Now the only way to get it is to catch a dev in game and wave at them

Samhayn was seen in game before the last update.
He said be prepared thursday for a jetpack event. No event yet. Could be DoTD since that is a jetpack. Hopefully he will clear this up soon.

Let us all take a moment for those who farmed the first jet packs (at 1000 kills not 150) hoping they could sell them in a year or so when they are considered "rare" they will probably have to wait longer. Please note that their efforts will still be remembered in our hearts but not in our credits.
on a serious note i do feel bad for them but ah well that's life :/

I farmed for 1000 on multiple toons, and i made money selling them. now i can do do it a lot quicker and sell them to people who miss the event and still make money. all looks good from my perspective

I still have all 3 sets on my mains, didn't do it for the credit I did I because we were told this was an exclusive event like alot of the other things I've been seeing lately. But oh well I am but one..

What i dont understand, is at the start of the day, many people wasted 30 plat on a silver jet, and now you can get one free? Whats more, i have 8 of them now, and all that differs them now is a tiny circle on the back. I think this could have been solved with more communication. Sorry :/

Yeeeeah, I got that silver pack the first time around. Does the one in this event also grant antennae? If it doesn't, I won't be so miffed about having paid -- I really like getting those vanities that grant gifts. They're fun.

Well i am not complaining. XD when the jet pack released for the first time i got a red pack really fast and sold it for 50k. Fastest 50k i ever made
