There are no crates in this event. All rewards are looted, purchased with event tokens (called “Vardan Vales”), or crafted from refined resources that you harvest from the event zone.

This is a very cool idea! No immediate plans for this but we will look into the possibilities for a future update :-)

The Arcanite Fields Are No Place for a Hotel

A new event arrives in Arlor tomorrow! Take the Arcanite Fields back from the greedy gnomes who would rather see them home to a big fancy hotel.

​The Arcanite Fields of Vardan Valley

Hidden away in the mountains of Arlor, the Vardan Valley is a land rich with natural resources that has been home to a peaceful farming community for hundreds of years. But, the peace in this beautiful land has been disrupted by a greedy band of gnomes who mean to loot and plunder all of the resources there for their own gain! It's time to step up and help the farmers take back their land by defeating the gnomes and gathering the resources before they can steal them away!

Getting Started

Talk to Farmer Greensnap in Windmoore to learn more about his plight. Enter the energy portal nearby to be transported to the Arcanite Fields, an open space filled with abundant natural resources.

Join your friends and interact with each of 5 different node types: Mineral, Wood, Oil, Fiber and the rare Arcanite to collect them. But, be careful! The gnomes want the resources for themselves! Knock them down and collect tokens that you can use for vanities and gear back in town.

Increase your chances of spawning rareArcanite nodes by equipping an Arcanite Pet before you enter the area!

After mining enough nodes, the gnomes will call upon their boss and leader, the dreaded Pulley Cogsmire, to stop you once and for all. Defeat him for a chance to loot some great gear, including a tradeable version of the event vanities, and even a rare chance to drop a lvl 71 Arcane belt or artifact (whaaaat?)!

Crafting

After gathering the raw resources, head to the crafting station to refine your materials.

These refined resources will sure come in handy, because there is brand new furniture, for either your own house or your guild hall for all to enjoy!

Need some fresh new digs for said guild? There is also a new guild hall to craft--the biggest one yet: The Colossal Keep. Complete with a gigantic hall fit for an iron throne, beautiful details like stained glass windows, and winding staircases.

Tokens

Now, where to spend those tokens? Head back to Farmer Greensap to spend your hard earned tokens on tradeable versions of each furniture recipe, or an account bound version of the new Death Knight vanity armor set for your class.

before thank you for an event, but why don't you make a vanity like a tree with the effect of falling fruit, please make an artifact and an arc drop rate belt be easy not for low chance, impatiently waiting if nothing special this will be 2 weeks boring

Is this new arc artifact going to have visual effect/aura ?

I beleive they have already made it clear that they are tired to pointless effects and are NOT adding one for the new artifact.

-I think about if you don't like to stop playing, this is all I can do to keep the community alive

-bad make something recolour, why don't you ask why the community and try a decent vanity vote ... how do you get a lot of money if you only make recolour, maybe this looks negative but we want something nice, glad to hear a thread vote banner why you does not provide opportunities for communities that still care about you to make something new, don't lock this thread but you can still improve it, I praise you in the past for now it's bad, I miss when STS releases events where someone can't wait to play and not sleeping, now I can only recall that it will never happen again but I want it back,

Nice new event and sounds fun but only thing that bothers me is that i see more recolors -_-

The original sneak preview for this event didn’t include vanities or house versions of furniture. The devs did a quick add in, (we begged nicely)so please excuse the recolors. Some is better than none.

I dont pvp , but like the suggestion of pvp ring in gh. This would be a great tool for guilds to train for Guild Battle and plain goofing off in the hall!
