Trying to get back into the game. Looking for tips on the current meta and other useful info. What's the most current farming method for stable gold? How's the market and what items are currently popular? Thank you in advance for the help

Hey there Arcanedragon

The best places to farm in endgame right now:

-Infested swamp & hydra bog for arcane/set drops.

-Elite Southern gates for the gold drops (Gold Loot set required for the full experience).

-Elite Kraken/Tindirin/Nordr/Shuyal for golden elite chests to sell on auction house.

-Fury/Mind/Finesse Jewels always sell for a good sum.

-Egg-zavier event is getting closer. (Not sure) Stay tuned on that one.

Mausoleum 1 & 6 are still the best places to this day currently for farming gold:

-Always wear your gold loot set at treasure rooms & use timur's AA/HB if you can.

-Use the somberholt tokens to buy those 10,000 gold coin chests from the chancel of light token vendor.

-Ebon set lv71

-Endless set lv66/71

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a detailed post! I actually have many eggs from the Egg event a few years back... Would it be a good idea to sell them now before the event? Also, is locked crate farming no longer a thing?

Yes sell your eggs right now.

And no. Locked farming outside of events has recently become stale and dry unfortunately. (Marsh Lockeds are low in value because the loot table is really underwhelming).

On a side note: Kraken Mines 3, from what i heard. Doesn't drop locked crates anymore. Unfortunately.

Apparently, I don't have enough Lightbearer points to get into Mausoleum... Also what is the gold loot set and how do I get it?

Gold loot is defined in 2 categories:
1) A special low stat gear set which doubles ur looted gold while wearing it.

2) Any gear with gold loot awakening.

Usually special gold loot set like avarice is too low in stats so it's not much good to play with it. and you maybe not have maximum gold loot awakening in your top gears, so u can switch to maximum gold loot awakening gears when u know u r about to have gold drops i.e. tresure rooms, boss killing etc.
Also some pets have gold loot effects.
