If true there would be no pink loot left. Everybody calls them legos, so that is their vernacular plural name. Have you ever read the side or back of a box of Cheez Its? Apparently according to the company, their snack is a substance like water, and the plural is the same as the singular (i.e. take a handful of Cheez It, and eat it). However you will never hear anybody say that, just like you will never hear anyone say, I'm going to build something with my Lego bricks.
