I need help with Itunes.... :D

Hello, as it turns out, my sister got her laptop stolen and the people spent about $300 on Itunes, so my dad locked the account. My account won't let me buy free apps because it always asks for my dad's visa code, but, if I buy an Itunes card, will it let me buy free apps? Or will I still need my dad's credit card password? Also, if I get the password and type it in on my Ipod, will the whole Itunes be able to buy stuff, or just my Ipod? Thanks!

Did you get your $300 back? And yeah, if you have an iTunes card you can get free stuff. And if you have your account on your comp iTunes synced with your iPod, the money on the card will be the same for both on comp and on iPod.
