1.33% chance for mythic amulet
1.33% chance for mythic ring
=> 0.4444% chance for an amulet of the right spec

Twink lol this is business for stats. Stats needs to meke there money, paying 100 dollars or more for a whole set or to finish our sets is not bad at all.
of course it's going to sound better when Cinco lumps Legendary, Elite, and Mythic rings and amulets all in the same 12% percentage. when you frame it that way, it doesn't sound so bad to the masses.
but then you take into account that there are so many more Legendary and Elite rings and amulets (both set pieces and non-set versions) and you realize THIS is the true percentage of getting a Mythic ring or amulet out of a chest.
lootcrate legends indeed.
You can go buy a triple A game on any platform with all it's dlc for less than $100 That's beyond unrealistic. A realistic number would be $20. The question is what's cincos target audience? Regular people who are willing to spend 20 bucks every now and then or people with disposable income who would throw out $100 in a heartbeat. While the $100 sounds good 99% of people can't afford that and in the long run you would want more people at the $20 price point.
I think 100% will pay 20 dollars, unfortunately this is not candy crush and we have to understand like an adult that space time studios is a company and they have a way of living just like you or your parents. So im pretty sure 400-600 each pc of set is not bad at all. Lots of players paid almost 3k just in weapon on cap 100 thats more then 1% spending 100 dollars. An event for gear will be awesome involving plat users and non plat users. Plat user obtain gear with plat once reached an achievement prices depending on items and tradable. Non plat users buy gear with gold not tradable or stash 15m-20m a pc this will also help devs get rid of some gold.
I never seen a pc of gear for 20 plat in almost 9 years i been playing this game, gear has always been expensive and the prices have always been 400-600 and many of us pays for it. Unfortunately kids dont understand the point of having a way of living.
Sets have been 400-600 plat for each piece ever since the introduction of buying endgame gear for plat was introduced at the level 80 cap.
Although someone such as yourself might not buy the pieces, others who have the means and are willing to would and then sell the pieces on the market. There would be plenty of sets in the game and gear would go down in price quite a bit.
I don't necessarily support this option, but it would be far better than what we currently have.
I would probably agree, even though I don’t buy plat anymore, I am sure they could make a lot of the community happier and able to finally get sets. I may suggest making it possible to get full mythic sets from the plat store for a very high amount of plat and pieces relatively adequate from the set prices.
