Fire Gem Not Found

So i bought a fire gem (i think its the name) but it dosnt appear in my inventory. What gives? I also tried checking in craft to put in gear but also nothing?

I thought fire gems were obsolete nowadays. I remember when they first came out and we had to craft them with essences but gems were replaced by jewels years ago.
