A lot of players may not have time to play or farm. Sometimes, farming is just boring. It would be good if dev introduce the idle system to control character by AI. The players can farm automatically.

This already happens in Arlor, nothing new.
Out of sarcasm, if you think that farm is boring, you can merch or buy plat like many others do. Farming requires dedication, stubbornness, and of course at least a bit of passion for it. Not everyone is made to be a farmer, same as not everyone is made to merch (personally i find it ridiculous)
What's the point of play a game standing in a town trying to make gold? What do they use that gold for? They barely run maps so i dont understand how can it be useful except to show off.... Same applies to your suggestion. If you just download game and then IA plays it instead of you, where is the fun? I think if you dont have enough time to farm you can buy plat or just look for another game, because Arcane Legends its type of game that requires some dedication. There are thousands of games out there that doesn't require many time to play, but overall if you want something worth you will have to work for it in any way.
I hope you can find a solution to your current ingame situation, but not involving everyone else.

I hate Auto Play in any game, go to youtube or twitch and watch the videos instead if you are that lazy.
And don't play the game if you don't have time for it.

Then the economy will be useless, merching will be useless, the game in general will be no fun man. I do not like idle games at all, they are so boring when you don't have the option to control your character in pve maps. A lot of people here go to college have a job and what not but still manage time to play the game. I am not home for days sometimes but I still find a way to log on.

If you do not have the time to farm, this game is not for you.
On the other hand, there are plenty of things to do to make money which dont involve constant farming.
If this doesnt work for you you can see about downloading AFK arena, that game pretty much plays itself
