Curious Question/s for all my Fellow PvP Players!

Hey everyone!
Someone recently pointed something out to me that seemed very relevant and concerning. Why do we play each other in PvP? Is it for the bragging rights over another, to have fun with each other, or just to have a reason to play?
This person pointed out to me that there is really no benefit to playing PvP except for those reasons. I want to try to start a movement to change that. Shouldn’t we be able to loot each other, have drops based off the hosted game for kills, gain experience, or gold from killing in PvP as we do in PvE? Like add a benefit of some sort of playing PvP, not just for number of kills or who we kill.
I may be wrong but this was a good point and I’m curious why do we play PvP?

There really isn’t any significant reason why most players play PVP. I myself only PVP around 1-2 hours a day ( on a good day) and typically only hop on for 20mins at a time , rush a few people, do some trash talking then hop off and repeat the cycle.

Bragging rights would be a good reason to PvP, but it’s such a meaningless achievement from a small little game that is considered beyond dead

I completely agree that we should be able to compete each other for gold tho. This is the reason why I always try and pvp players with wagers on the line, makes it a little more interesting and fun to play.

Well i believe that PvE and PvP are both completing the fun in the game where you can farm items / vanities for the look and PvP others to be having competition and enjoyment.

Without (PvP) the PvE won’t be the only source of enjoyment as the people will be bored from that

Plus the idea of wagers isn’t always fair unless there is a middle man that holds the pots

Well what if the gold was not from that person but like random amounts of gold like just the game rewarding you for killing? Same with my other ideas. Like make pvp somewhat like pve with the exception of you farming bots, your actually farming people. Making it harder of course.

You pvp for fun. Unfortunately that fun is now gone from all the lootboxes and paywalls in pvp.
