I'm dark master already and was want to know something
well I saw someone in lich fight and he/she didn't get debuff damage at all in both shield
well simply dark masters are able to damage in light shield and light into the dark
and whenever ur side shield comes up u will go to another color pool and get ur damage back and it's cost lot potions ...
well, that guy just had both side halo helm vanity that means he completed both side quest ...

after all if I do change my side and do the light side quest and get halo helm and be light master am I able to get no debuff in lich at all?
pls someone confirm it caz I like a dark master but I do like to be able to get no debuff no matter side.

leme know this question pls caz a lot peapols asking it.

when you change from drank apostle to templar or from templar to dark apostle u can keep the halo which u crafted into vanity so you can have 2 halo's

When you switch sides you loose access to the crafting and buffs of the previous side so you cannot craft or get immunity of both sides at the same time.

I had someone in M6 saying that they were both light & dark. I was like ok come stand in these pools & show me. LoL u can have both halos. But you can’t have both dark & light buffs at the same time.

U can have both hallow vanity but not the buff, if u switch from dark to light u will lost your damage buff and get armor buff, same as if u light and switch to dark, u can only have 1, i did that in my mage, from light to dark, but light is better for mage, dark for rouges,, in lich pool maybe its because light has armor buff thats why he can stay long in dark pool

Dark and light both gives armor and damage buff, you will see both icons on your hud and the stats increases irrespective of which side you take.
The only difference between light and dark is the pool mechanics for vori's/lich fight and bombs/halo you craft.

That icon u mean is reaching tier, Advocate and diciple tier, when u reach elite lightbearer u have quest to craft halo which is u gonna choose light or dark, then there is a discription to both side, dark acolyte gives u damage, light acolyte gives u armor,
after u crafted any one of them u get exalted rank tier

Also different in crafting voice set items (dark can craft armor and pendant, luminous can craft helm and ring) and elixirs (apostle elixir for dark and templar elixir for luminous)

LOL.... I spoke to that loser sometime ago and somehow my side was "reset" and now I have to do the re-balancing quest to become dark or light (drink 100 elixirs) .....

You get the exalted armor/damage buff after finishing the "Dark Apostle" or "Luminois Templar" quest chain. You get both buffs irrespective of which side you take.

Hope this helps in clearing the confusion:

you can change by talking to Septum Uru to begin the questline, however you have to be very very sure you want to do this! You can go back and forth as many times as you like.

The old documentation that mention Luminous being defensive and Dark Apostle offensive based are not actually how they ended up as both of them acquire equal stats. The major difference is in boss mechanic relevance and also what can be crafted.
