    Default Axe Throw improvement for PvE

    Hello,

    i am coming with this suggestion to give warrior 1 decent skill vs single target (bosses). Game has evolved. Aimed shot is harming bosses each 2s, and i think, that warrior should have his "aimed shot" too.
    My idea of improved axe throw:


    OPTION I:
    Simply buff axe throw damage by +5-10%, double/triple the bleed damage and reduce cooldown (cd) to 3-4s.

    OPTION II:
    Increase the "blacksmith touch" perk damage from 15% to 20%.
    Triple the bleed damage for the duration of new cooldown (3.5s).
    Replace "Concussion" perk with "Supercharger".

    Supercharger:
    + reduce cooldown (cd) from 7s to 3.5s
    - disable pulling enemies towards you ability

    Question. 4th skill is enable pulling enemy so that 2nd skill slot you suggest just conflicted with 4th skill slot

    I agree that bleed should improve. Maybe bleed 50% from raw damage?

    Yes, firstly i "designed" it without disabling pull, but then i remembered, there is also dead PvP mode, and players probably won´t like spam of pulls. So i created perk described above. On paper it is simple (hopefully it is not hard to code for devs ) :
    a) Enable 2nd perk and 4th perk together, you will have 3.5s cd + taunt, but lose pull.
    b) Enable 4th perk only, you will have curent vesion of that perk with 7s cd.
    c) Enable 2nd perk only, you will have 3.5s cd, disabling pull is not needed.

    Why not just replace it with 'reduce axe throw cool down by 3 seconds.' So from 7s > 4s
    Just replace that stunt for faster cool down speed

    Or just leave the way it is and improve that mastery by replacing taunt for better cool down speed
    0 5s for each mastery. 10/10 mater reduce 5 seconds thus skill will be from 7s > 2s

    Option 1!!! Increase Axe Throws Damage by an extra 10%. So instead of the regular 15%, Axe throws new damage will be 25%. And also triple the bleed effect. CD 4 seconds.

    I like the idea of improving the axe skill.
    Another option could be massive buff to bleed. 7s of massive bleeding would be great compromise.
    What do you think?

    I can’t talk too much since I don’t play warrior, but here’s what I suggest.

    Keep axe as it is. I like the concept of pulling, especially for bosses and pvp. However, I think it would be a good idea to introduce a new skill and just get rid of Rally Cry entirely since it’s useless. This new skill would be a ranged attack that would be the “Aimed shot” for warrior. Warrior only has 1 ranged attack, and I think it would be a good idea to give them another to be more competitive. Curious what actual warriors would think of this.

    Or here's a better idea. Make it so that tanks are actually needed to protect their DPS.
    Buffing damage cap after cap after cap isn't the proper solution to class balance.

    90% of AL tanks can't even properly tank but demand for more raw damage.
    I get it, DPS is prioritized for faster party runs for their damage but the solution should not be to give each class the same amount of damage so everyone runs with each other.

    but the problem here is... 99% tanks can't really tank and protect, so they will not be invited because of their unskill

    Please, stay on topic. I created this thread on one purpose, and one purpose only - buff for single warrior skill. Feel free to create thread about nerfing rogues/ balancing PvE.

    Most good war went to rog because of class imbalance.

    I honestly think that the pulling aspect of this skill shouldnt be removed, BUT i do think the bleed needs a buff. Here is my suggestion:
    1. keep the cd or reduce it by 1-2s and make a dot/bleed last for 4-6s (depends on a cd.....if the cd is 5s make it last 4s)
    2. buff the dot dmg its self, right now its +-300 with 4,5k dmg, make it 100% of ur dmg
    2. buff the mastery, add the dot/bleed dmg per each rank, for example +25-250% (this will stack up with the base dmg of the dot) of your raw dmg
    3. keep the pull
    Than you can also remove stun to "keep the balance" or lower a bit the "armor reduction".
    Now....eventho +25-250% of ur raw dmg + the dmg buff to the dot itself may seems as a lot...remember if the dot will last, lets say 5s, dmg output per second will be around 16k (iam using 4,5k raw dmg as an example), that is 80k dmg per 5s.....which compare to rogue aimshot dmg is still low.
    Iam not playing PVP often so i dont know how big of the impact that would be, so i would suggest to make these changes only in PVE.

    I would also like to respond to this.....I dont really think that tanks arent invited because of the "skill", well some are.... , i do play most of the time with 3 rogues....but there are maps where u just dont really need a tank, when u have actually some gear (Depp, Orrick, Hydra). That is because with increasing lvl cap rogues are getting stronger and War/Mage are kinda.....left behind....since the reflect (aegis) is now a lot weaker so is warrior class (yet again). I think these small adjustments (on the axe skill) could really help...in a longer term.

    1+ good idea ive been using axe throw for bosses combined with fenris AA and MM AA which bleeds the boss a lot and drain life faster so buffing the bleed would really help the boss fight like boogie u warrior cant solo boogie unless they will spend their whole 20mins there ( ofc lv65 below warriors)
