Guild battlegrounds leaderboard

Just a thought.

Quarterly resetting guild-battlegrounds leaderboard with guild flag icon (with swords crossed) badge rewards 1st (gold), 2nd (silver), 3rd (bronze) - - > banner for most quarterly wins (1st and 2nd) + gold/silver permanent badge (with year of achievement on) at the end of the season.

Cheat prevention measures:
- You can only fight the same guild 2x in 24h (further fights will not count towards the lb)
- New guilds are not registered for the lb for 7 days
- Only 4v4+ fights will count towards the lb


Any more cheat prevention measures are welcome

For this to be efficient, I suspect we will need a guild bg page where any guild can post themselves as available for fights.

Great idea, but this too can be manipulated bc 7 day maturity isn’t enough, also after the first quarter there will be enough secondary guilds fighting against their main guild just for the rewards.

and then devs remove that type of lb
those guys had no shame to fill regular lb by their fake "top" players, what will be problem to cheat this lb then?

Why do you sound like you’re hating on both of that guilds?

Leaderboard will have its issues no doubt so rather than that, this would be nice if it was an event say twice a year or maybe once with the same mechanics as a pvp tournament. Where only the top 50 guilds get to participate and are randomly paired to vs against at the start. That takes out the whole <noname random guild> issue.

For cheat prevention methods, only people who have been in the guild for more than 10/15 days should be allowed to participate so it eliminates the guild hopping and guilds buying ''op players''. Assuming of course that the time from when the tournaments annouced to the start of it, theres only a week to less than the 10/15 days for guilds to prepare because otherwise this prevention is meh.. lol

Dont know this person but can make a few assumptions from this post.

Definitely in a guild which used to be good and has fallen down the leaderboard. Instead of facing the truth that maybe his guild are clueless and have fallen for a reason he/she choses the deluded option and blames everyone else

Second assumption is that this person is clearly a hater

Third assumption is that english is not his/her first language.

Personally I think the quarterly rewards would be enough to get people involved and move us one step closer to reviving pvp in arcane legends. The permanent rewards may inspire cheating but the temporary rewards; not so much. Simply bragging rights, fun all round.
