Well, I bought the weapon yesterday and I’ll give my opinion:

- The proc rate is waaay too low, Devs should at least double the proc rate.

- The damage is waaaay too low in PvE and PvP, I hope they increase it a lot because the proc itsel isnt able to kill a simple mob.

- I saw any defensive buff when the proc is active

- The proc area of effect seems to be a bit small but idk...

Futumsh already said minimum 2x publicly, that they will look on new arcane weapons. No need to create xy threads about same thing.

For PvE i disagree
* Proc rate in PvE is decent.
* Damage from proc in PvE is greater than from ebon sword + now proc damages multiple targets.
* Futumsh said, that buff is not player-visible stat, but it is there.
+ Only thing i agree with you is range, should be a bit greater.

EDIT PvP:
I do not play PvP, can´t say much about it, but seeing sword performance in PvP match your findings.

I won´t continue in this. My english is not best, but i am sure i did not say it is OP. You want something better, and i say: explore warrior class a little more...

EDIT: I see problem in skills, STS should look on damage output and cd, so warrior won´t relly on single thing in PvE (proc), but this is another story.

honestly if warrior is a dps class you wont need other class like rouge and mage... if you really want so much damage keep using ebon sword at least sts dont nerf it like DS and balance staff or flame staff ...

mages still using old weapon in pve i have 3 staff for example....

are you meant to be a solo class ? or is the map meant to be solo ? you should ask yourself you know the answer already ..

thats why so many times warrior with ebon sword dont even wait for rogue and mages in maus and they just ran off soloing ...

I mean solo mode like valley frontier,swamp tample and etc.....from what i see..mostly rogue now dont really need a warrior...they got 7k+ dps,10k+ health,6k+ armor...

all valley maps warrior enough good soloing with 71 arcanes and tb, swamp temple as i remember warriors got the highest pts (solo)

they got 7k+ dps

dps is useless stat and doesnt show anything

here is something for you:

In the map with 5 waves, the boss with the machine, I think it’s called Skull Dozer; he doesn’t do any damage in solo mode and it took me like 15 mins to kill him. There’s no point in running that map solo for tanks.

tried solo on rogue, that boss almost 1hit me every his red zone,

i'm sure with ebon sword warrior will that boss solo less than 2min, u know mages and rogues using 2+ weapons also, not only one (as you tried)

maybe finally somebody can answer my question? what will be point playing rogue/mage, if warrior (as immortal pve class) can finish map solo in same time as rog/mag

The proc overlapping has been happening since the game existed and I'm sure we've all been abusing that thing for years in one way or another:P Maybe STS should try and fix that? But I wonder why none of us has reported that before? Maybe it's because we secretly like it? :P
