never changed, all nekros have that passive at lvl40+

I've leveled multiple pets 1-76 and no passives changed. This one did.

they are ALL change passives, usually its like:
mythic/arcanes/heroics improve passives at lvl10/20/30/40
legendary and lower - lvl5/10/15/20
(there are some exceptions ofc, sometimes pet get its best passive at lvl30/35/50)

They all change at some levels, just like what slaaayerrr said, now that makes me wondering are you new player or just didn't bother to notice the changes of pet's passive at all.

Heroic and normal Grimm have same passive and they change 4 times throughout:

Passive Ability (Level 10): Scythe Slash = Damages a target and has chance to reduce dodge by 10%, and chance to hit chance by 10%.
Passive Ability (Level 20): Enfeebling Slash = Damages two targets and has chance to reduce DEX, STR, INT by 5, and hit chance by 15%.
Passive Ability (Level 30): Withering Scythe = Damages multiple targets and has chance to reduce DEX, STR, INT by 20, and hit chance by 35%.
Passive Ability (Level 40): Breaking Strike = Damages multiple targets and has chance to reduce DEX. STR, INT by 20, hit chance by 35%, and armor by 20%.

As slaaayerrr mentioned above every pet changes passive 4 times. You should pay more attention in-game. Use the "Advanced Search" option on forum to research.
