Font color not working on posts

Hey guys, I have seen this on a few people's posts, and I experience this myself...

Just say I want to color a word or sentence, instead of the letting being colored, the code just ends up on either side of the selected text. For example, below I wanted to color the sentence pink.

Only a handful of the colors work (at least in certain editors). Here is how to get other colors if you want: http://www.spacetimestudios.com/show...ht=hexadecimal

I use the hex codes too, they work for me. For my uses I don't need anything more then the 7 colors of the rainbow

You have to choose in setting on how detailed you want your posts to be

Under general setting

--> Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG <-- This option
Basic Editor - A simple text box
Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls

It all seems to work fine for me.

Just click "Go Advanced" and use the advanced editor to make your post. Up top in the Advanced Editor you can change the font, color, smilies, indent, do bullets, all that stuff

What Iambirdman said is correct apparently. I had issues when I had the standard editor option checked, but I switched to full WYSIWYG, and all colors work now.
