1. They bought many awake gems in the previous event and they didn’t manage to sell them all for profit.
2. They bought awakened gear/awake gems after the event and those items will now become cheaper.
They don’t care about the economy at all, they only care about themselves, lol.

Some people care about the game, not everything is about merch. So ask yourself: Why they running this event so soon?

A number of reasons surely. Need money. "Help" newer players get powerful gear. Keep your interest in the game. To be nice.

If you ask me its #1 and #3, what really matters is if they better the game at all or just go event to event like last year. That will be the most telling thing.

I think this is a perfectly good time to have this event, unlike many opinions here on the thread.

A variety of new, lvl 76 gear, has recently arrived and so this event is very good to help players gain better awakes on their gear to improve their stats. Whoever views this event as only an opportunity for hoarding and making gold, do we really need players like you in the game? There is more to Arcane Legends than just relying on your huge stocks of items to rise in price for you to make gold while sitting around.
